Carson v Makin

The Supreme Court has ruled, by a 6-3 vote, that if states provide school-tuition assistance to parents, the parents must be free to use that money to send their kids to religious schools that are otherwise academically accredited. As far as I can tell, the atheist community is appalled by the ruling, which has been called an assault on the separation of church and state, the First Amendment. But I think the ruling is correct, given the alternatives available to the Court. See my argument in "Parents Should Govern Their Kids' Education."
